Arrive at Chalet Grand Loup to be welcomed by a glass of bubbles before you check into your en-suite bedroom, settle into the chalet and make the most of its facilities.
Each morning, awaken your body with a carefully sequenced 90 minute Vinyasa flow practice. Energise and improve flexibility during sun salutations and explore alignment and strengthening your core with dynamic movement - vital for yoga, skiing, and your day-to-day posture. We will then provide a delicious continental breakfast with freshly made juices and smoothies. The rest of the morning is yours to relax and take in the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
In the afternoon, you will meet with your instructor who will guide you through equipment selection. Your 3 hour ski lessons will be tailor made to the individual. Upon returning to the chalet, refuel with a delicious homemade cake and afternoon tea. To help you recover from skiing, the second yoga session is a 45 minute Yin and Restorative practice. Spending a few minutes in each pose it will relax and reset your mind and body.
Finally, enjoy a gourmet 3 course evening meal with a focus on healthy plant based recipes with meat or fish if you you prefer. Wine and other non-alcoholic beverages are available. Any dietary requirements can also be catered for.

OUR YOGA TEACHERS
Having been exposed to an active and outdoor lifestyle from a young age, Becca has always been up for trying new challenges. Initially discovering yoga by stepping onto the mat to compliment running and workouts she was doing at the time, soon regular practice opened her eyes to a new understanding for the importance of finding balance in mind and awareness of body.
Becca qualified as a yoga instructor in 2016 and has since been teaching dynamic Power Vinyasa flow classes, with a Baptiste influence. More recently exploring and learning about the benefits of restorative & yin yoga, her teaching aims to link steady breath with each movement, focusing on different areas of the body, and offering variations in order to welcome and empower yogi’s of all levels.
Sophie has been fascinated with the body and the way in which it works. In 2014 she headed off to India to complete her Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training and finding her passion headed off to participate in an Advanced Training that same year.
Since undertaking her Level 2 training she has been working closely with a Teacher Training School seeing her work alongside them in Thailand, Costa Rica and Europe. In 2017 she quit her job to become a full time teacher and has been holding classes, events, retreats ever since.
2017 also saw Sophie complete her Meditation Teacher Training which she loves to incorporate into her classes.
Whilst she sometimes enjoys a stronger practice, for Sophie yoga is and always will be so much more than back-bending and headstands. She encourages her students to drop in and draw awareness into their own bodies, creating a safe space to practice and grounding them in a strong foundation.
A lover of travel, nature and experiencing new cultures, delicious food and books, Sophie is constantly learning and evolving and trying to absorb all the beauty that this world has to offer.
